Workvivo, an Ireland-based firm, improves collaboration by providing tools such as surveys, activity feeds, shout-outs, and email digests.
Zoom, a video communication platform, has purchased Workvivo, an employee communication platform, and will now leverage Workvivo’s features to help enterprises improve communication and relations within the firm.
Zoom will be able to substantially increase engagement and user retention by providing some amazing interactive features. The business’s goal with Workvivo is to “fully unlock the potential of their employees and evolve their company culture in a hybrid world,” according to Zoom.
Workvivo, an Irish business, is an employee communication platform that includes polls, surveys, activity feeds, shout-outs, email digests, community groups, organisation charts, and shared calendars.
All of these incredible technologies enable staff in both small and large organisations to maintain effective communication and collaborate more effectively. These tools are especially significant in businesses that choose remote or hybrid work.
Workvivo, which was founded in 2017, was always on Zoom’s radar, as it had previously gotten an angel investment from Zoom CEO Eric Yuan in 2019.
Zoom stated in an official statement regarding the acquisition that “engaging employees and driving culture through connection is no longer a ‘nice to have’ — it’s imperative for success in today’s business environment.”
“Our focus is to integrate Workvivo into the Zoom platform, and we will look to streamline in the future,” a Zoom spokeswoman told the press.
