Earlier this week, Xiaomi commenced the anticipation for its upcoming Redmi Note 13 series, beginning with the Note 13 Pro+. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has now officially announced that the series will make its debut in China on September 21.
Initially, Xiaomi primarily focused on the Note 13 Pro+, but it has since unveiled the design of the Note 13 Pro as well. You can catch a glimpse of the teaser poster below.
In the image, you can observe the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ positioned on the left and the Note 13 Pro on the right. Notably, the Pro+ variant will introduce a curved display for the first time, while the Pro model retains the conventional flat panel design, albeit with minimal side bezels. Both phones will come equipped with AMOLED screens, complemented by an under-screen fingerprint sensor.
The Pro+ features a textured and curved rear panel housing larger camera sensors in contrast to the standard Pro. Both camera setups bear the “200MP” label, but “OIS” is exclusively present alongside the Pro+ camera.
Earlier this week, Redmi made an official announcement, revealing that the Note 13 Pro+ will boast the formidable Dimensity 7200-Ultra chipset, accompanied by a substantial 5,120 mAh battery that supports rapid 120W wired charging.
In the meantime, there are rumors circulating that the Note 13 Pro could potentially integrate the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, accompanied by a 5,000 mAh battery supporting 67W fast charging. Alongside these eagerly awaited models, Redmi is also poised to introduce the standard Redmi Note 13 5G, although details about this particular variant remain undisclosed for now.
Keep an eye out for further updates.
