The world’s busiest airport, Dubai, has remained that way for nine consecutive years.

According to Airports Council foreign (ACI), Dubai International Airport (DXB) continued to be the busiest for foreign passenger traffic for the ninth consecutive year in 2022.

After DXB’s passenger flow doubled to about 66 million in 2022, the airport raised its forecast for 2023 to 78 million.

Renewal of Passports within Four Hours
Earlier, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs (GDRFA) offered a 24-hour visa renewal service at the airports in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, according to an announcement made by the UAE’s Digital Government.

UAE nationals can obtain an Emirati passport in five straightforward ways, as described by the Digital Government: new, renewed, replacement, etc.

These approaches include submitting an application at the airports of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah, as well as using the Residency and Foreigners Affairs/Citizenship Section, the Nationality and Residence e-portal, the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security (ICP) visa service, and the Nationality and Residence e-portal.
