The Islamabad Capital Territory Police (ICTP) has decided to take action against persons who do not pay traffic penalties.
According to reports in the media, the department has compiled a list of e-challan evaders. The list includes the names of 100 persons who have not paid their fines.
The automobiles of individuals who have not paid the fine will be detained, according to traffic officials, and will not be freed until the fine is paid.
According to traffic officials, vehicles that violate traffic laws are being closely observed by Safe City cameras.
A Crackdown on Tinted Windows
Following an increase in the number of such vehicles, ICTP launched yet another raid earlier this month.
According to an official tweet, the operation has been restarted on the special orders of Inspector General (IG) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan. It goes on to say:
The usage of tinted glasses can make it simpler for criminals to conceal their identities and actions within the vehicle, increasing the danger of terrorism, car theft, kidnapping, and other illegal activity.
The agency has recommended the public to avoid having their car windows tinted and to remove any tints from their vehicles as soon as possible. Individuals who do not comply will suffer harsh legal consequences as part of the crackdown.
