Sindh’s School Education and Literacy Department (SELD) has recently issued amended schedules for all educational institutions in the state in an effort to better serve students and staff during the holy month of Ramadan.
According to the most recent announcement, all public and private schools in Sindh will henceforth start at 7:30 AM and last until 12 PM, Monday through Thursday and on Saturday.
The new timetable will also shift the start and end times for school on Fridays, moving them from 7:30 AM to 11 AM.
The revised timings will be in place for the entirety of Ramadan, which will be a relief for both pupils and instructors who frequently find it difficult to maintain the regular school routine during this holy month.
The effort of the Sindh School Education and Literacy Department has received widespread support, and many pupils and parents have expressed appreciation for the practical and accommodating schedule.
The new schedule will allow students to fulfil their religious obligations without jeopardising their academic performance or attendance.
