Silver Medal for Pakistani Tennis Prodigy at Dushanbe Youth Tennis Competition

A magnificent display of talent and technique led to ohaib Afzal, a young tennis prodigy from Pakistan, winning the silver medal at the Asian Tennis Federation Dushanbe Open Under-14 competition.

An example of Zohaib’s skill on the court is his excellent performance in the boy’s under-14 singles final, when he competed against Daniyal Mushtaghifard, the top-seeded Iranian player.

Both players displayed tremendous agility and precision throughout the whole match, which was a closely contested struggle from the get-go. After the first set was initially knotted at 2-2, the Iranian showed his skill by winning it by a score of 6-2. After that, he won the next set 6-0 to secure the championship.

In order to go to the final, Zohaib had earlier defeated Marcel Alekseev of Kazakhstan, displaying his talent and tenacity on the court.

On March 18, the second leg of the U-14 doubles competition, Zohaib Afzal and Aamir Mazari added another silver medal to their impressive resume.

After the game, Zohaib acknowledged his happiness at taking home two of the three silver medals, saying it gave him a great deal of satisfaction to represent Pakistan and succeed.
