The Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (SKMCH&RC) received approval from the famous American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO)’s Quality Oncology Practice Initiative (QOPI) Certification Program, signifying an important historic event.
In the initial state located in South Asia and one of six outside the United States to get this honor, Pakistan is now at the top of cancer prevention and treatment.
The SKMCH&RC got a three-year approval with the QOPI authorization Program that is known, to assess clinical hematology-oncology procedures. These highlight the hospital’s mission to offer effective cancer care that’s open to everybody, whatever their financial circumstances.
The hospital’s performance effectively met and surpassed the demanding standards and goals put forward by the QOPI® Certification Program after completing extensive and intensive site testing.
The achievement is a memorial to SKMCH&RC’s commitment to excellence and also to
Pakistan’s growing position in the field of healthcare.
In spite of increasing the hospital’s standing, the certification shows the capacity of Pakistan to provide outstanding cancer care.
As it established Pakistan as an expert in the treatment of cancer, this huge accomplishment inspires the organization and the nation as a whole with pride.
