Shahid Afridi has requested that Sindh create a cricket academy in Karachi.

The former all-rounder recently revealed his plan to create a Karachi cricket academy at District West Wangi Goth. The veteran cricketer also told the Goth Sardar about the academy.

He promised Goth youngsters athletic facilities during his visit. Afridi stressed the need to promote sports in Pakistan and give new cricketers a chance to flourish.

He also stressed the need to find and support talent from around the nation.

The former cricketer has long supported a Karachi cricket academy.

Cricket fans applaud Shahid Afridi’s efforts to develop Sindh cricket and create a Karachi cricket academy. Whether the authorities act on his appeal and support his idea is unknown.
