The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has made an announcement about the supply of gas between Iftar and Sehr in an effort to better serve its customers during the holy month of Ramadan.

The utility company has however also warned that due to a shortage of 250 million mmbtu, gas pressure will be low from 8 AM to 2:30 PM, which will cause the suspension of gas supplies to various locations.

As a result, dissatisfied customers have voiced their worries and objections, claiming that the outage has prevented them from preparing meals for the sick, the old, and children.

Nonetheless, the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Ltd (SNGPL) has made specific announcements to ensure that its customers receive uninterrupted gas supply throughout Ramadan.

The company has promised to take prompt action to assure gas delivery with full pressure, particularly for domestic clients between 2:30 AM and 6 AM and 4 PM and 9 PM. Nonetheless, residents in many areas are dissatisfied with the gas load-shedding.

A SNGPL spokesperson also assured consumers that the company will ensure natural gas supply other than the mentioned timings, so that their routine activities can continue without disruption.
