Former Pakistani cricketer Ramiz Raja criticised the side for failing to pursue 300 runs on a batting-friendly pitch in the last ODI against New Zealand.

Ramiz Raja said on his YouTube channel that the Men in Green missed a chance to stay atop the ICC ODI standings.

The former PCB Chairman stated that the national squad had wasted great opportunities and failed to show up on big occasions before.

Ramiz Raja stated the Babar Azam-led team lost the seven-match T20I series against England last year despite a 3-2 lead after five matches.

We lost a pool match and the Asia Cup finals to Sri Lanka. Raja said Pakistan cannot capitalise on huge opportunities.

After winning the fourth game, Pakistan rose to the top of the ICC ODI standings, but they fell to third again after losing a streak.

previous month, the national squad was criticised for losing the previous two T20I matches against New Zealand, finishing in a 2-2 series.
