According to recent reports, the Police Executive Board of Punjab has decided that female police officers must wear headscarves along with their official uniforms.

This choice was decided at a recent board meeting, and the IG Admin Punjab then delivered a letter to formalise it.

According to the letter, the choice was made in light of a study of female employees who wear uniforms about the wearing of headscarves.

According to the survey’s findings, female police officers preferred olive green, black, and blue scarves the most.

The logistics division of the Punjab police has been instructed to provide these scarves to female officers in their preferred colours of blue, black, or olive green to help with the implementation of this new policy.
