PTI Protesters Expect More Traffic Jams

After Imran Khan’s detention on Tuesday, Pakistan’s law and order situation has been chaotic.

The situation remains turbulent, especially in the Twin Cities, despite the Supreme Court (SC) declaring the arrest “unlawful” yesterday.

The current information from the PTI leadership is that protests should resume after Jummah Prayers. Thus, officials issued a travel advisory.

Instructions in the advisory:

Melody, G-6 – Diversions for both directions on Melody Road from Shuhada Chowk to Aabparah Chowk.
Melody Saddar Road had two-way diversion signs. Use A K Fazlulhaq Road or Suhurwardi Road.
Red Zone – Two-way traffic diversion at NADRA Chowk, Express Chowk, and Ayub Chowk. Red Zone entry and departure can also via Margallah Road and Serena Chowk.
