Pakistan’s internet is down after Imran Khan’s detention.

Multiple Pakistani internet providers are blocking Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube. Mobile network internet shutdowns have also occurred.

NetBlocks studied 120 measurements from 60 locations in Pakistan. VPNs can circumvent restrictions on fixed broadband connections, while mobile internet shutdowns cannot be circumvented.

Protests and crowds in Islamabad have stopped multiple roads and other areas, making it unclear when internet services would be restored. The situation may take some time to normalise.

Please post any other internet troubles in the comments.
