Pakistan Army Selects a Simple 23 March Celebration

The Pakistan Army apparently opted to scale back its annual Pakistan Day parade, which is held on March 23 every year, as a result of the nation’s economic difficulties.

This day, which commemorates the adoption of the Lahore Resolution in 1940, is customarily celebrated with a display of military might.

According to the sources, in keeping with the government’s economic austerity campaign led by Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif, the parade would be held at the Presidency rather than the Shakar parian Parade Field.

According to reports, the Pakistan Army will continue to help its people and is still very committed to the economic development of the nation.

As Pakistan prepares to restart the IMF-stalled loan programme, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar stated on Thursday that a personnel-level agreement with the IMF is likely to be reached within the next two days.

According to Dar, the present administration is attempting to revive the nation’s economy after inheriting a financial disaster.
