Bykea now offers Telenor Pakistan mobile top-ups to drivers via the Bykea App, where they can purchase top-ups or bundles for themselves and their customers.
The partnership was signed at Telenor Pakistan’s Karachi office to make the Bykea App more convenient for customers. After the ride, Bykea customers can top up their Telenor mobile balance and subscribe to a bundle of their choice.
“We noticed that Bykea riders had credit in their wallets that they had to cash out or transfer to other apps for mobile top-ups. “We built an option to top-up and subscribe to mobile bundles built within the Bykea app to disentangle this process for them while creating additional value for the ride-hailing service,” Abdul Mannan, Chief Information Officer at Bykea, stated.
“Financial flexibility and digital cash are the way of the future. “We hope to incorporate features in Bykea that will make it easier and safer to move money,” he added.
In response to the partnership, Umair Mohsin, Chief Marketing Officer at Telenor Pakistan, stated, “Customer care is at the heart of our business, and our priority is to bring convenience to our customers.”
