Armed robbers raided a DHA Phase V residence early Tuesday.
Gizri police came swiftly to the distress call and confirmed that the perpetrators broke over the barbed wire fence to enter the apartment.
They grabbed control inside and held the residents hostage for over 30 minutes. While brandishing weapons, the criminals grabbed Rs. 5.6 million in cash and valuable mobile phones.
The investigating SHO, Amir Chaudhry, was deeply concerned.
The thieves felt invincible because there were no CCTV cameras. However, the crime scene unit’s perseverance saved crucial evidence that may help identify and apprehend the perpetrators.
