– Get those docs submitted on time, then keep an eye on where they’re at (so you’re not the person everyone’s nagging for updates)
– Talk to PROs, government folks, and your coworkers about all things visa—sometimes more than you’d like, but hey, part of the gig
– Keep your paperwork game tight—no lost files on your watch
– Actually pay attention to the latest UAE immigration rules (because things change, like, every five minutes)

– You’ve done this before in the UAE—no newbies, please
– You know your way around GDRFA, MOHRE, ICA… all those acronyms that make other people’s heads spin
– Typing in English? Easy. Arabic? Even better, but not a deal-breaker
