Job Overview: AWS Distribution is on the lookout for a very talented and strategic Tax Manager to supervise the tax operations in UAE and GCC. The perfect person will work together with the company in developing and executing its tax strategies, guaranteeing continued compliance with regional tax regulations, and offering professional consultation to top management. This job necessitates a mix of analytical skills, good understanding of regulations, and excellent leadership qualities to manage the tax affairs and their planning in an effective manner.

Tax Strategy and Planning: Tax Manager, you shall be the one who invents and puts into action advanced tax strategies enticing the company to good financial performance and less liabilities. And the executives would be your close partners in working out great solutions for difficult tax matters, like transfer pricing, cross-border transactions, and long-term financial structuring.

Tax Compliance and Reporting: You will take charge and control of all tax-related compliance activities, making sure that filings for VAT, Corporate Tax, ESR, UBO, and AML are done accurately and on time in line with the laws of the UAE and GCC. Furthermore, you will coordinate tax audits, work with external advisors and make sure that all reporting is in accordance with IFRS standards. Being detail-oriented and a proactive regulatory updater will be the prerequisites for your success.

Risk Management: One of your responsibilities will be to pinpoint tax risks and enact strong internal procedures that would eliminate them. You will shadow operations made from tax point of view continuously to see if there are any discrepancies with local or international tax laws. Winning the company’s financial interests would be the end to which preserving compliant and open tax practices is the means.
