job We are searching a Senior Procurement Engineer for a significant, long-term building project founded in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). The ideal candidate should possess at least six to seven years of relevant procurement experience, especially in the building industry. Working on a large infrastructural project provides a fantastic opportunity for exposure as well as international best practice improvement.

Key Responsibilities: The Senior Procurement Engineer will manage the complete procurement lifecycle for construction-related materials, services, and equipment. Responsibilities include identifying reliable vendors, issuing RFQs, evaluating supplier offers, negotiating terms, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to the site. The selected individual will also ensure compliance with company policies and project specifications.

Vendor Management and Negotiation: You must develop and nurture close relationships with suppliers and contractors to guarantee superior quality supplies and services at reasonable rates. Finalizing contracts and agreements in line with project objectives and deadlines depends on good negotiation and communication abilities.

Interaction with Stakeholders: The position requires continual interaction with project engineers, quantity surveyors, and project managers to confirm material requirements, lead times, and delivery schedules. You will work with the finance section to manage purchase orders, invoices, and payments.

This position also includes examining technical specifications, BOQs, and drawings to guarantee procurement precision. Preparing procurement reports, keeping procurement records, and organizing paperwork for audits or later references will fall under your responsibility.
