There’s a solid gig up for grabs in Abu Dhabi. One of those fancy semi-gov organizations wants a Senior Power BI Engineer for their Tech & Digital/Data squad. Contract’s a year, but if you’re killing it, they’ll hang onto you longer. Salary? Not too shabby—think AED 25K to 29K, maybe up to 30K if you really wow them. Doesn’t matter where you’re from or what you identify as—everyone gets a shot.

Who are they looking for?

Honestly, you’ll need to have your act together. Bachelor’s in IT, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering? Check. Been deep in the data trenches for 7 to 10 years? Even better. If you’ve got Azure certs (DP-900, PL-200, DA-100, or something similar), they’ll love you. You should basically live and breathe Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Azure Synapse. If you’re one of those data warehouse/data modeling nerds, you’ll fit right in. Oh, and a bit of experience with finance or stock exchanges? That’s like bonus points.
