QC Inspector – Mechanical | Job in Dubai
Job Description
Job Description: We are looking for a seasoned mechanical QC inspector to help with a long-term building project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Applicants with six to seven years of mechanical quality control experience in large construction settings would fit perfectly for this job. This is a great chance to expand your global project portfolio if you have great inspection understanding and are meticulous.
Primary Duties: As a Mechanical QC Inspector, your duties will include oversight of all on-site mechanical quality-related activities. This consists of inspecting materials, piping, HVAC systems, welding, and mechanical installations to ensure compliance with standards, specification and client’s requirements. Furthermore, you will witness and verify the tests and inspections, approval, and document.
This role would involve tracking non-conformance reports (NCRs), test plans, and thorough inspections as well as documentation. You will be expected to adhere to requirements including internal QA/QC methods for the project as well as ASME and ASTM. Good documentation is absolutely vital to make certain that for the duration of the project things are open and trackable.
Coordinating and Reporting: You will coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and third-party inspectors to guarantee prompt inspections. The QA/QC Manager and client representatives have to be informed often. You will also help during external and internal audits and make sure all quality criteria are being met over the mechanical scope of work.
Knowledge of several inspection tools, pressure testing, welding inspections (including WPS, PQR, and WPQ compliance), and alignment equipment is crucial. You must also have a strong grasp of mechanical drawings and technical documentation, including isometric sketches and P&ID diagrams.
Project Details & Benefits: This is a long-term position in a significant construction project in Saudi Arabia. The position is onsite and interviews are conducted virtually. The employer provides full FAT benefits (Food, Accommodation, and Transportation); all advantages of this role is appropriate for an Expat looking for a secure and supportive working arrangement in a foreign country.
Essential knowledge of several inspection tools, pressure testing, welding inspections (including WPS, PQR, and WPQ compliance), and alignment devices is needed. Reading and understanding mechanical drawings and technical papers—including isometric diagrams and P&IDs—is required as well.
