Job Description

Position Overview: The Project Manager would be in charge of the whole spectrum of large construction projects typical of concept process carried out in an orderly manner till the end. The person willing to take this position will need to possess top-notch leadership qualities, great project planning skills and the ability to simultaneously deal with several parties in a quickly changing development environment.

Project Planning & Execution: The candidate who best fits the job description will be the one to take care of project timelines, budgets, procurement, and contractor performance, so that everything will be done the way it should be and nothing will fall short of the set standards. The Project Manager will create comprehensive project plans, track the progress, and take necessary corrective actions if any.

Team Coordination: The applicant will be responsible for the coordination of teams made up of different specialties, such as architects, engineers and contractors, and will thus be the one to ensure that there is good inter-departmental communication and collaboration. The role consists of granting roles, assessing performance, and commanding the directing of efforts towards the company’s goals.

Quality & Compliance: The Project Manager will be the one who applies the quality control measures as well as the building rules and safety regulations. A very important part of the job will be to assure that the preventive actions taken meet the standards of the law for the construction activities.

Budget & Cost Management: The new hire will be expected to be continuously aware of the project’s budget and financial performance. He/she will be the one to decide on the allocation of resources, the approval of procurement and the whole life of the project will be characterized by the very good cost control that is optimal.

Stakeholder Communication: The Project Manager’s role will be that of the primary communication link between the customers, consultants and internal divisions. To guarantee the openness and accountability, regular progress reports, site meetings and status updates will take place.
