Job Summary: We require a very competent and seasoned Planning Manager for an honored building project founded in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be in charge of all planning activities, ensure the project adheres to schedule, and closely interact with project managers and engineers. For control of significant construction project milestones and schedules. The Planning Manager, who will give senior stakeholders monthly progress reports, will be crucial to the success of this long-term project.

Project Responsibilities: As the Planning Manager you will create and maintain the program schedule using advanced planning and scheduling systems, and will identify the critical paths, the milestones, and potential traps in the schedule. You will coordinate with the design, procurement and construction teams to collect the data and update the schedules while meeting best practice standards and contractual obligations from phase to phase. In addition, you will analyse the project to identify potential delays and make recommendation to avoid risk long before the delayed delivery impacts the outcome.

Leadership and Partnership: Providing strategic insights and best-in-class planning techniques to the project’s leaders, the Planning Manager will be a major advisor. To ensure clarity on project priorities, you will assist junior planning staff and work with cross-functional teams. Strong leadership is essential to guarantee that all participants stay aligned, funds are effectively used, and consistent, clear communication is kept throughout the course of the project.

Management of Stakeholders: You will be tasked with preparing reports, dashboards and presentations for senior management and clients which should detail the progress, risks and solutions of the project. As planning lead for the project, you will need to establish good working relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and other consultants to provide a collaborative working environment for the project and resolve scheduling conflicts in a proactive and diplomatic approach.

Technical Proficiency:This position demands thorough understanding of pertinent project management technologies as well as planning program tools like Primavera P6 and MS Project. Essential is a solid command of earned value management, resource loading, progress measurement, and variance analysis. You need to be able to convert challenging project data into practical insights that inspire improved decision-making throughout the project team.

The Planning Manager will also make sure that all planning processes follow client contractual commitments, pertinent laws, and international best practices. You will make sure that every major compliance benchmark is included throughout the program calendar by paying attention to safety, quality, and compliance. The capacity to impose tight change control and handle adjustments is vital in this always changing environment.
