Job Description

Creating, managing, and monitoring project schedules so that all phases are completed on time will mostly be your responsibility as a Planning Engineer. You will collaborate with site teams, purchase personnel, and contractors to match real-time building progress. Your work is critical to ensure that projects stay on schedule and satisfy every deadline with remarkable efficiency.

Project Coordination: This task entails coordination with engineering, architecture, and procurement teams. You will be required to attend progress meetings, update schedules, and manage the schedule with commonly used tools from industry sources. You will also participate in performance analysis and risk/delay mitigation strategies.

Technical supervision will involve creating and revising construction schedules using programs like Primavera P6 or MS Project to meet project deadlines. You will be responsible for recommending schedule acceleration techniques, assessing delays, and maximizing work plans.

Monitoring and Reporting: You will track KPIs, produce daily, weekly and monthly reports on project progress and relay feedback to senior management and all project stakeholders. Your analysis and reporting will be critical to maintaining transparency and clarity across teams.

You have to make sure all project scheduling and planning procedures meet the company’s internal requirements and adhere to UAE building regulations and safety guidelines. Furthermore guaranteeing agreement with contract deliverables, cost control, and resource allocation policies.

Cooperation and Communication: You will be working alongside the Project Manager, Site Engineer, and Procurement Officer, as well as external vendors and clients. Thus, it is important to have strong communication skills to clearly describe risks, changes, and expectations to everyone involved.
