Position Summary: Rushmore American School is interested in hiring a caring, committed, and dynamic part time homeroom teacher who will promote a positive and inclusive learning environment. The teacher will work Monday and Tuesday, delivering lively and engaging classroom experiences that spark students’ curiosity and promote academic flourish.

Teaching and Learning: In accordance with the school’s curriculum, the homeroom teacher will be in charge of creating, implementing, and evaluating lessons. In order to ensure that every kid feels appreciated and encouraged, the candidate will assist students’ holistic development and modify teaching methods to accommodate a range of learning needs.

Classroom Environment: The educator will create a welcoming, safe, and engaging classroom environment that promotes respect, responsibility, and teamwork. The intention is to foster creativity, critical thinking, and engagement of students, a vital to their emotional and social health.

Student and Parent Relationships: Establishing close and positive relationships with both students and families will be an essential aspect of the position. The teacher will keep open lines of communication, routinely relaying information on student academic and social growth while cultivating trust and a working partnership between home and school.

Curriculum and Collaboration: To guarantee the provision of a coherent and stimulating learning environment, the homeroom teacher will collaborate with coworkers and school administration. It will be encouraged to work together with other educators to exchange best practices, tactics, and resources.

Professional Commitment: The chosen applicant should exhibit a strong work ethic, professionalism, and punctuality. The instructor will take part in training sessions, school meetings, and other events that advance the community’s overall growth at Rushmore American School.

Qualifications and requirements: The successful applicant will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood, or Primary Education and hold a teaching qualification in the form of PGCE, PGDE or QTS. A minimum of 2 years teaching experience is necessary and they must currently be on their own visa to remain in UAE.
