Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of FIVE’s award-winning Housekeeping Department with a ‘FIVE-Styled’ approach to meet guest demands seamlessly.
Maintain exceptional attention to detail, curating stunning guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces that adhere to FIVE’s top-tier standards of luxury.
Inspire, train, and mentor the Housekeeping Team to implement innovative cleaning techniques, ensuring safety protocols and guest service are nothing short of exquisite.
Monitor and control the usage of premium housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring a well-stocked inventory that guarantees cleanliness at all times.
Prioritize guest satisfaction by celebrating excellence in housekeeping, addressing and resolving any guest concerns promptly while embodying the ‘Vibe at FIVE.’
Ensure compliance with all housekeeping policies, procedures, and industry-leading brand standards.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas, enhancing the guest journey at FIVE and promptly addressing areas for improvement.
Foster effective communication and collaboration with other departments to create a behind-the-scenes ‘Vibe at FIVE’ that ensures seamless guest experiences.
Communicate any issues to the next shift with enthusiasm and complete required paperwork with remarkable attention to detail.
Maintain records, reports, and documentation of housekeeping activities, providing an award-winning level of organization and care for room occupancy, maintenance requests, and lost and found items.
Follow FIVE’s safety and security policies and procedures, reporting any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries immediately.
Promote and enforce first-class health and safety practices, championing the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and exemplary cleaning and chemical handling protocols.
Complete all required safety training and certifications with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
Maintain a polished personal appearance and clean uniform, ensuring a professional and Instagram-ready look.
Qualifications & Experience:
A minimum of 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a luxury hotel environment in the UAE.
High school diploma or equivalent qualification, with a preference for additional certifications or training in Hospitality Management or Housekeeping Expertise.
Knowledge and experience with Forbes and Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards is advantageous.
Proficient in computer skills, particularly in Word, Excel, and Outlook, with exceptional knowledge of hotel PMS, specifically Opera.
Strong understanding of industry regulations is beneficial.
A proactive nature combined with a meticulous eye for detail, ensuring every aspect of operations is curated to perfection.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, utilizing strong verbal and written abilities to engage effectively with guests, FIVE Tribe Members, and stakeholders.
Outstanding organizational and supervisory skills, effectively leading and inspiring the FIVE Tribe to reach new heights.
Ability to find creative solutions and take ownership of all assigned duties and tasks, ensuring an unparalleled journey at FIVE.
