Open Roles:
– Treasury Executive (yep, automotive industry—think cars, not spreadsheets)
– Parts Ordering Executive
Treasury Executive | Automotive Industry
Location: Dubai, Head Office
*Experience: You’ve gotta be ACCA qualified (with 3–4 years’ solid experience) or at least have your CA (Intermediate).
So, what’ll you actually be doing?
Cash Management:
– You’ll whip up daily bank position reports—no snoozing allowed
– Sort out fund transfers, quick and painless
– Handle bank reconciliations like a pro (or at least try)
– Put together cash flow forecasts—yes, you’ll be the fortune teller for our money
Corporate Banking:
– Keep tabs on loans (Medium Term, Short Term, Trust Receipts—you name it)
– Log all settlements into the ERP system, pronto
Treasury Ops:
– Update our foreign currency hedging stuff (it’s not as scary as it sounds)
– Talk to banks about FX contracts—don’t worry, you’ll get used to the jargon
– Make sure suppliers get their foreign currency payments on time
– Prep weekly rollover instructions for Forex deals
– Record all those fancy Forex moves in the ERP
Foreign Supplier Payments:
– Check those supplier statements (catch mistakes before they bite)
– Make sure payments go out before anyone starts nagging
– Keep tabs on advance payments for those swanky car orders
Trade Finance:
– Raise Letters of Credit when needed (it’s not Hogwarts, but close)
– Send swift copies to manufacturers—no dilly-dallying
– Sort out LC amendments and get export docs in shape
– Keep the Export LC register nice and tidy
– Follow up on trade docs (and yes, deal with customs—lucky you)
– Log every LC settlement in the ERP
– Keep customer guarantee records in order (sticky notes not accepted)
