We’re on the hunt for someone who actually gives a damn about numbers and doesn’t start yawning halfway through a bank rec. If you’re sharp-eyed, annoyingly accurate, and not afraid of a little Excel drama, you might just be our next General Ledger hero.

What You’ll Actually Do:

– Tame the daily chaos of bookkeeping, making sure every penny is where it should be.
– Whip up and post journal entries—think accruals, prepayments, the whole shebang.
– Keep the general ledger squeaky clean and sort out those pesky subsidiary ledgers.
– Wrestle with both Accounts Payable and Receivable, so you’ll know exactly who owes who what.
– Chase down bank recs and help out when month or quarter closing comes around (yeah, it gets wild sometimes).
– Babysit the fixed asset register and keep depreciation on a leash.
– Get your hands dirty with VAT and Corporate Tax workings—no snooze fest, promise.
– Team up with the Senior GL Accountant when it’s time for audit schedules and financial reports. Basically, you’ll make them look good.
– Keep our accounting docs in order because, let’s be real, nobody wants to go on a paperwork scavenger hunt.

What We’re Looking For:

– Bachelor’s or Master’s in Commerce (yeah, the paper matters).
– You spot tiny mistakes before anyone else, break down numbers like it’s a puzzle, and don’t freak out when things get a little hectic.
