Job Overview: The Foreman – Mason would be a key person to supervise the masonry crews and make sure that all the construction and finishing work done according to the project specifications and the quality standards. The right person for the job will have excellent experience in controlling site operations, looking after safety measures, and making it easy for the masons, engineers, and the site supervisor to communicate.

Role Objective: This position aims at a great professional who can easily juggle many large-scale masonry projects at the same time. The foreman will make sure that every day the site is run smoothly and at the same time a very high standard of work is maintained. This job is looking for a person with unique qualities, the best in technical knowledge and the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications accurately.

Key Responsibilities: The Foreman – Mason will be the one managing the whole range of masonry works which are blockwork, plastering, tiling, and concrete finishing. One of the responsibilities would be to divide the work among the crew, check the work done for adherence to the requirements, keep track of the materials consumed and make sure that the project is finished within the given time frame. The foreman will also take care of the problems occurring at the site and inform the project engineer or site manager about the progress.

Supervision and Team Management: The foreman will manage a group of ten or more masons and helpers to keep up the pace and maintain the quality of the work at the same time. The role also includes the coaching of the less experienced workers, the strict observance of safety measures, and the conducting of regular inspections to ensure compliance with the company and industry standards. Good communication and motivation skills are prerequisites for a successful performance in this role.
