Job Description

Strategic Function in Estimation: Under the direction of an Estimation Manager, you will be in charge of all estimation processes for significant building projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Evaluating project needs, working with engineering and procurement teams, and creating precise cost estimations that meet client expectations and corporate objectives will all be part of your duties.

Tendering and Bid Management: You will be responsible for tendering, which involves understanding specifications, project drawings, and any contractual documents to prepare accurate and quantifiable offers. The knowledge you have gained preparing BOQs, tender documentation, and pricing considerations will have a significant impact on the company’s ability to successfully win profitable contracts.

One of the most crucial components of your work will be careful cost analysis and market benchmarking. This entails evaluating material and labor costs, examining supplier quotes, and comparing prior project data to create realistic cost predictions. One should be good at estimating both Excel-based models and pricing software.

Collaboration with Project Teams: You will collaborate with design engineers, procurement team members, project managers, or others to achieve alignment on the cost estimation effort with the technical requirements and schedule. It will be important to be able to communicate between the technical team and financial members.

Compliance and Risk Management: You guarantee that all estimates follow pertinent legal requirements, organisational policies, and building codes. Especially in finding possible cost increases or concealed expenses, your responsibilities will include risk identification and control plans.

Reporting and Documentation: You will be asked to document thoroughly and convey estimation reports clearly – for both internal stakeholders and clients. Maintain historical cost records, and report monthly, and may be called upon to support auditors.
