Manage a variety of online and offline projects that meet the evolving needs of the business, adhere to strict deadlines, and maintain effective communication across teams.
Assist in developing the Style Guide and Tone of Voice for our entire retail brand portfolio.
Enhance the glossary and translation repository, contributing valuable input.
Propose concepts and expansions for stories and campaigns according to the defined content matrix for all business areas.
Brainstorm seasonal themes for owned media channels.
Support the introduction of suitable talent, including a diverse roster of photographers, both emerging and established.
Deliver weekly content updates for the website and app using a content management system (HP, category landing pages, listing pages, email, SMS, and push notifications).
Effectively manage workload via ClickUp, ensuring task statuses are updated upon completion.
Handle ongoing feedback from various teams, ensuring all updates are captured and confirmed with stakeholders.
Assist with content execution, meeting deadlines for business reviews and addressing regional differences.
Conduct ad-hoc competitor analysis to identify opportunities for new content modules on-site.
Proofread layouts across all digital channels, providing feedback and updates as needed.
Review homepages in the preview environment and check layouts after they go live.
Support the Content Manager, Digital Content Coordinators, and team members in testing and reviewing new content developments across all channels.
Manage all pages on internal CMSs, setting them live after thorough checks.
Edit and approve all editorial copy, verifying content published by junior team members and reviewing design submissions.
Develop engaging headlines and sell copy that reflects character, authenticity, and wit.
Submit cross-channel content ideas during creative meetings.
Review website content and communications to ensure high standards while maintaining our unique voice.
Contribute to glossary input and translation repository enhancements in Arabic (if required).
Act as a quality guardian for our tone of voice, becoming an expert on specific fashion brands and categories.
Support Senior Content Editors and Content Managers by providing mentorship and guidance to junior editors and team members.
Qualifications & Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of work experience, including at least 2 years in an eCommerce and retail environment, preferably in the luxury sector.
A degree in Journalism, Creative Writing, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or a related fashion discipline, with previous writing experience demonstrating a strong editorial perspective and a solid understanding of fashion, fabrics, and brands.
Familiarity with content management systems is preferred, with knowledge of Contentful, Core Media, and SFCC/SFMC considered a plus.
Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, along with managing Content Management Systems (Salesforce/Demandware is an added advantage).
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with flawless spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
Ability to accurately apply and cross-reference large volumes of feedback.
Proven capability to manage multiple campaigns across various time zones while meeting strict deadlines and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
Flexibility to adapt tone of voice easily throughout the day, shifting from formal corporate communications to engaging, pun-inspired social media posts.
