So, here’s the deal—you gotta actually know your way around electrical maintenance. I’m talking about substations, those beastly HV/LV transformers, and all the headache-inducing gadgets that come with ‘em. If you’ve spent your days poking around CMW military contracts and didn’t lose your mind, that’s a solid plus.

You’ll be hands

On with operations and maintenance for 33KV and 11KV substations. Like, the whole deal—installing, fixing, commissioning cables, all that jazz. You’ll need to know your stuff when it comes to cable glanding and termination (if you don’t, Google it now and save us both some time), testing cables, and keeping single and three-phase motors and panels from blowing up.

Oh, and paperwork

Because there’s always paperwork. SLDs, PPM schedules, BOQs, variation orders, all that fun. If you’re allergic to Excel, probably look elsewhere.

Minimum requirements?

B Tech in Electrical Engineering, 8+ years getting your hands dirty with CMW/military maintenance stuff, and—this is a dealbreaker—gotta read and write Arabic fluently. If you’re bilingual, you’re golden.
