Job Description

We are seeking 10 experienced Heavy Vehicle Drivers/Car Carrier Drivers to operate heavy-duty trucks, including car carriers, flatbed or low-bed trailer trucks, and heavy goods vehicles. Responsibilities include loading and unloading vehicles, delivering heavy equipment or goods to various locations across the UAE, and assisting in the movement of light vehicles at all AFL locations.

Responsibilities:

As a Heavy Vehicle Driver, you will be responsible for assisting in the loading and unloading of cargo onto and from vehicles. You will maintain communication with the Planning office to receive instructions, be dispatched to new locations, and update delivery statuses. Additionally, you may be required to assist in driving light cargo vehicles as needed.

You are expected to ensure economical fuel consumption, conduct inspections of the truck and trailer before and after trips, and submit all relevant reports, including trip sheets and fuel receipts, among others.

Qualifications & Experience:

Holds a UAE driving license for Categories 3 and 4
Minimum of 2 years of experience driving any of the following: car carriers, side curtain trailers, flatbeds, low beds, side loaders, or other heavy goods vehicles
Ability to follow written instructions and documented procedures
Willingness to work in a large yard in Kizad, Abu Dhabi
