Here’s the deal. Halian’s hunting for a Data Engineer who’s basically an Azure & Databricks wizard. Yeah, it’s a 12-month contract gig, and you’ll be chilling (or sweating, let’s be real) in Abu Dhabi.

What do they want?

Someone who’s been around the data block—like, 5+ years of actually doing the job, not just reading about it. You should be tight with Azure stuff (Data Factory, SQL, Functions—the works). Databricks and Spark? You better know them like your Netflix password. Python? Duh. If you don’t speak Python, you’re kinda out. Oh, and you need to get what data modeling and governance is all about—not just buzzwords.

Small print:

You gotta be living in the UAE already. No remote magic from your couch in another country, sorry.

Extra brownie points if you’ve:

– Dabbled in healthcare data (or survived working in healthcare at all)
– Played around with Power BI or any other BI toys
– Got that shiny Azure Data Engineering cert to flex
