Job Description

Financial Management: The Accountant will supervise daily money management, ensuring all company transactions are accurately documented. The role includes prepare, review, and maintain accounts payable, receivable and general ledger documents. The role requires attention to detail and compliance with accounting standards to keep clear financial records for potential management decisions.

Budgeting and Reporting: The successful candidate will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to assist management in making data-driven financial decisions. They will also analyze expenditures, manage budgets, and forecast future financial performance. Timely and accurate reporting is crucial for ensuring compliance with both internal policies and UAE financial regulations.

Taxation & Compliance: According to UAE law, this position requires the practical application of VAT filing, reconciliation and submission. The accountant will ensure that all financial statements comply with company policy, audit protocols and laws governing federal taxation. An essential part of the everyday routine will be proper filing of tax returns and compliance reporting.

System and Software Management: The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in using accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate digital records, performing data entry, and generating system-based reports for management review. A strong command of Microsoft Excel is essential for reconciling data and performing advanced financial analysis.

Cost Control & Expense Management: The accountant will monitor operating costs, assess ways to save costs, and guarantee effective use of resources. This entails creating expense reports, examining deviations, and suggesting financial plans to maximize business profits while preserving operational integrity and quality.

Cooperation and Communication: To settle financial disputes, control billing, and guarantee effective departmental communication, this position entails routine collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and clients. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for the accountant to uphold business goals and professional connections.
