Job Description

Financial Management and Reporting: The Accountant will oversee all financial tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations. The Accountant will also ensure that financial data is accurately recorded and reported according to UAE accounting standards and policies established by the company.

ERP and System Operations: Managing end-to-end accounting workflows within the ERP system requires the ideal candidate to be an expert in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. They will guarantee the correct integration of all financial transactions and the timely and accurate generation of reports for management analysis by the system.

Cost Control and Inventory Accounting: This role requires working closely with the Supply Chain and Procurement functions to record accurate inventory costs, stock valuations, and consumption information. The Accountant will be responsible for monitoring cost controls to optimize profitability and minimize waste.

VAT and Compliance: The accountant will take care of tax reconciliation, VAT filing, and making sure that UAE tax regulations and reporting guidelines are followed. They will help external auditors, create supporting documentation, and make sure that all legal obligations are fulfilled precisely and on schedule.

Support for Analysis and Strategy: The position include creating cash flow projections, budget comparisons, and monthly management reports. The candidate will highlight financial trends impacting business performance in the FMCG sector and offer practical insights to aid in decision-making.

Inter-Departmental Collaboration: The Accountant will collaborate closely with the operations, procurement, and sales teams to align financial practices with business objectives. Effective communication and proactive problem solving will be critical for improving ERP efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.
