In anticipation of Eid-ul-Fitr, the Green Line bus service, Karachi’s main metro system, has established a temporary modified timetable to accommodate late-night shoppers.
This choice, according to a spokeswoman, was made as a result of people’ increased spending during the last few days of Ramadan as they get ready for the upcoming vacation.
The bus service will now depart from the two terminals each morning at 7:00 a.m., and it will continue until 11:30 p.m. from Abdullah Chowk in Sarjani Town to the Numaish Chowrangi station. Additionally, the Numaish Chowrangi down-track service will be available until 12:30 a.m. As a result, the last bus from Numaish Chowrangi will leave at 12:30 a.m. while the last bus from Surjani Town will leave at 11:30 p.m.
According to the spokeswoman, the revised schedule is intended to accommodate harried consumers and facilitate travel in the closing days of the holy month.
