Dubai’s Al Habtoor Group wants to build the world’s largest residential structure, the Habtoor Tower.
It will be on Sheikh Zayed Road near the Dubai Water Canal and the Dubai International Financial Centre, with amazing Burj Khalifa vistas.
The multi-billion Dirham Al Habtoor City project will offer luxury amenities and living areas.
The 3,517,313-square-foot Habtoor Tower will have 81 storeys and 1,701 keys. It should take 36 months.
Khalaf Al Habtoor, the Founding Chairman of Al Habtoor Group, is excited about the project and proud of the unique building methods that will build this tower in record time. He claims the tower will be a regional building benchmark and architectural masterpiece.
Developers say pre-painted metal decking in parking and commercial areas will speed construction.
The tower will also emit 50% less carbon than ordinary constructions. Al Habtoor called these sustainable practises essential to the tower’s growth.
After collecting offers from significant UAE, China, India, and European players, Al Habtoor Group is selecting a contractor based on expertise.
