A brand-new, inexpensive phone from Honor has gone on sale beginning in the UK. Its name is the Honor 70 Lite 5G, and as its name implies, it adds to the current Honor 70 lineup while being less expensive.
Design and Display
Given that it is merely a budget phone, the 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen only sports a 720p resolution and a typical 60Hz refresh rate. On the side, there is a fingerprint sensor that also serves as the power button.
Hardware and software
It is powered by Qualcomm’s entry-level 5G SoC, the Snapdragon 480+, which in terms of benchmark results for raw hardware performance is roughly equivalent to the Snapdragon 720G. This is paired with only a single 4 GB/128 GB memory configuration.
It supports Honor’s Magic UI 6.1 over the stale Android 12.
Cameras
The main camera system is square-shaped and consists of a 50MP primary shooter and two 2MP sensors for depth and macro photography. Although it hasn’t been confirmed, these cameras most certainly have the ability to record 1080p films at 30 frames per second.
An 8MP camera is used for taking selfies.
Pricing and Battery
The inbuilt battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh and is linked with 22.5W fast charging via the USB C connection.
In the UK, the Honor 70 Lite 5G will start at £199 and come in Titanium Silver, Ocean Blue, and Midnight Black colour variants.
