The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has announced that the central meeting to sight the moon for Rabi-ul-Awal 1445 A.H. will convene today at the Kohsar Block office in Islamabad at 6 pm local time. Simultaneously, regional and district meetings will be conducted at their designated venues across the country.
These arrangements are part of the preparations for the sighting of the crescent of Rabi-ul-Awal 1445 A.H., signifying a pivotal moment in the Islamic calendar. The Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will preside over the gathering at the Ministry’s headquarters, while other committee members will participate in meetings organized by their respective Provincial District Ruet-e-Hilal Committees.
In order to facilitate timely and precise information sharing, the Ministry has furnished contact numbers for the general public and institutions to report moon sightings and related details. The determination regarding the moon sighting, whether positive or negative, will be officially disclosed by the Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, relying on the information gathered during these meetings.
