Breaks His Own PSL Century Record, Rilee Rossouw

During the 27th game of the current eighth season of the Pakistan Super League, South African batter Rilee Rossouw once again shown her exceptional talent (PSL).

In the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Multan Sultans’ Rossouw struck an electrifying century against Peshawar Zalmi to help his club to a historic victory.

The left-handed batsman helped Multan Sultans reach their lofty 243 run total by scoring 121 runs off 51 balls, including 12 boundaries and eight maximums.

With this outstanding performance, the 33-year-old set a new record for the fastest century in the PSL and assisted the Mohammad Rizwan-led team in reaching the postseason.

Rilee Rossouw had previously reached a century in 43 balls, but tonight against Zalmi, headed by Babar Azam, the South African batsman did so in just 41.

Babar Azam, meanwhile, reached a significant personal milestone in the same match by recording his fourth PSL 8 half-century and setting a new record for his fastest T20 fifty by reaching 50 runs in just 24 balls.

The right-hander played admirably, helping Zalmi to 242-6 in 20 overs with 73 runs off 39 balls. It was also his 83rd fifty-run or higher T20 score.
