One of the low-cost airlines in the UAE, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, has received federal government authorisation to launch operations in Pakistan. It will reportedly introduce inexpensive flights to the nation, with airfare starting at about AED 179.
The airline is actively updating its regulatory frameworks to enter Pakistan as well as India, according to Khaleej Times. Johan Eidhagen, the Managing Director (MD) of Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, commented on the news and said that due to the extraordinarily high demand, they are investigating the South Asian market.
He affirmed that the routes will be made public shortly when the regulatory framework adjustments are finished, and he said that the company is not only exploring new locations but also thinking about expanding its current routes.
Johan also suggested joining the Wizz Discount Club to take advantage of exclusive airfare deals whenever the airline starts operating in Pakistan and India. Some prices, but only for club members, are lower than AED 179, he said.
Johan noted that Wizz Air Abu Dhabi is a “discount king,” and that people in the UAE adore deals. He advised them to sign up for the Wizz Air newsletter so they could receive the most recent information on deals and promotions.
