Against Peshawar Zalmi, Jason Roy and the Quetta Gladiators broke every record possible.

The Pakistan Super League (PSL), which is now in play, provided cricket fans with another thrilling match at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, where multiple PSL records were broken.

Quetta Gladiators defeated Peshawar Zalmi by chasing down a massive total of 241 runs, which became the fifth-highest successful run chase in T20 cricket history and the biggest in PSL history.

The Mohammad Nawaz-led team set a PSL record for most boundaries ever in an inning with 40 during the high-stakes match, including 30 fours and 10 sixes.

Jason Roy, who struck his first century last year against the Lahore Qalandars, became the only foreign cricketer to record two hundreds in the PSL with a knock of 145* runs off 63 balls.

The star English batsman broke Babar Azam’s record of 15 fours, which he had made in the same encounter on his way to his first PSL century, by hitting 20 fours in his game-winning innings.

The right-handed opener scored 110 runs by hitting just boundaries, shattering Sharjeel Khan’s previous record of 96 runs against Peahwar Zalmi in 2016.
