Job Description
As a Heavy Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating large forklifts to efficiently move, load, and unload materials and products within our warehouse or distribution center. Your role is essential in maintaining the smooth flow of goods while ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Safely operate heavy forklifts to transport goods and materials within the warehouse or distribution center.
– Load and unload shipments from trucks and containers.
– Stack and organize materials in designated storage areas.
– Conduct regular maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues or malfunctions.
– Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
– Perform pre-operational inspections of forklifts and other equipment.
– Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
– Maintain accurate records of materials handled and movements.
– Assist with inventory management and stock control as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
– Proven experience as a Heavy Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse or industrial environment.
– Valid UAE forklift operator license (mandatory).
– High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
– Strong knowledge of forklift operations, safety protocols, and load-handling techniques.
– Ability to operate different types of heavy forklifts and material-handling equipment.
– Excellent physical fitness and stamina to meet the job’s demands.
– Strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
