As a Hospital Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the healthcare facility by managing all associated resources. Your role will involve overseeing hospital services to ensure they are effectively delivered and meet the needs of patients, physicians, staff, and the wider community.
– Department Coordination: Oversee and coordinate the operations of all assigned departments to ensure seamless functioning.
– Accreditation Participation: Actively engage in JCI accreditation projects to uphold quality standards.
– HIS Implementation: Play a key role in the implementation of the Hospital Information System (HIS).
– Workforce and Resource Management: Make major decisions regarding workforce and resource allocation for assigned departments.
– Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to government regulations and standards set by accrediting bodies.
– Operations and Financial Management: Accountable for the overall success of hospital operations and financial management; lead the development of strategic and operational plans.
– Executive Leadership: Serve as a member of the Hospital Management Executive Committee, collaborating with leaders in governance, management, and medical staff to develop policies and programs.
– System Development and Quality: Focus on system development, quality improvement, fiscal management, enhancing work culture, and internal communication.
– Asset Management: Ensure the optimal use, safety, security, and maintenance of all hospital assets.
– Patient Care Policies: Develop and implement service policies related to patient care, fostering collaboration across departments and external services for integrated care.
– Non-Clinical Staff Management: Oversee non-clinical employees in accordance with hospital policies, ensuring fairness and professionalism in all practices.
– Performance Reviews: Ensure that annual performance reviews are conducted by the appropriate managers for all employees.
– Disciplinary Actions: Review and approve disciplinary actions or employee terminations as necessary.
– Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
– Post-Graduate: A post-graduate degree in Hospital Administration or a closely related field is highly preferred.
– Language Proficiency: Excellent command of both oral and written English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
– Computer Skills: Proficient in computer literacy.
– Experience: At least eight years of experience in hospital operations, particularly in administrative leadership roles.
