We are seeking an innovative Procurement Manager to lead our procurement team. In this role, you will oversee the entire purchasing process, from selecting suppliers to optimizing stock levels, and provide guidance on sourcing and procurement strategies.
The ideal candidate will be an expert in supply chain and logistics, specializing in implementing cost-effective purchasing strategies for goods and services. Key priorities will include ensuring quality control and adhering to the company’s policies and procedures related to supply chain management.
– Develop innovative and cost-effective procurement strategies.
– Source and engage with reliable suppliers and vendors.
– Negotiate terms with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable agreements.
– Review and assess existing contracts to ensure ongoing viability.
– Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
– Approve purchase orders and coordinate the delivery of goods and services.
– Conduct risk assessments for potential contracts and agreements.
– Manage the procurement budget and foster a culture of cost-saving in procurement.
– Oversee IT systems that track shipments, inventory, and supply levels.
– Prepare and present procurement reports.
– Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
– Demonstrated experience in managing supply chain operations.
– Proficiency with supply chain management software and tools, such as Oracle, SAP Ariba, and/or Envision.
– Extensive knowledge of contract preparation and review, invoicing, and negotiation.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
– Strong management and leadership skills.
– Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
